While trying to eat Paleo it can be very difficult to give up dairy and especially ice cream!
I found a recipe for Banana Ice Cream and I LOVE it! You can alter it in so many ways. Here is just a simple version that is healthy enough to have for breakfast!
Banana Ice Cream
Ingredients
- 3 Frozen Bananas
- 1/4 cup Coconut Cream
- 1/4 tsp Vanilla alcohol free
Optional
- 2 tbsp Maple Syrup
Instructions
- Peel and freeze your bananas the night before
- Add all the ingredients into a powerful blender or food processor
- Blend it all up!If you are having difficulties blending it, add a little bit more of the watery coconut milk
- Serve!
Coconut Ice Cream
- If you want to make more of a coconut banana ice cream, add a cup of coconut cream, blend and serve!
I LOVE chocolate, especially chocolate ice cream! So I decided to try and make my own.
Using a similar recipe to the one above just adding cocoa powder! I have also read a couple recipes add cinnamon, it might be worth the try!
You really can’t go wrong making banana ice cream!

Chocolate Banana Ice Cream
Ingredients
- 3 Frozen Bananas
- 1/4 cup Coconut Cream
- 1/4 tsp Vanilla alcohol free
- 2-3 tbsp Cocoa Powder sugar free
Optional
- 2 tbsp Maple Syrup
Instructions
- Add all the ingredients into a powerful blender or a food processor.
- If you are having difficulty blending, add a little more of the coconut milk.
- Add more or less cocoa powder depending on the taste you are wanting!
- Serve and enjoy!

Notes:
- To get Coconut Cream do not shake the can before opening and it will all be sitting at the top. If you want more coconut milk than cream shake the can or stir the contents.
- Make sure to find alcohol free vanilla
- When looking for cocoa powder try to find the least processed kind possible
